How To Tell If A Smart Lock Is A Left Or Right Door Opener?
To determine whether a smart lock is oriented to open left or right, you first need to know whether the door swings inward or outward.
Y2, Y3, M3, M4 These four models of locks, the spindle and the rear knob are installed in a vertical position (when the latch is retracted).

Step 1. Face the door from the outside.
Step 2. Determining whether a door opens left or right.
If the hinge is on the left, the door is left-handed. Please push the direction button on the circuit board to “L”, turn the door knob to be horizontal.
If the hinge is on the right, the door is right-handed. Please push the direction button on the circuit board to “R”, turn the door knob to be vertical.
Step 3. Setup complete.
Once the orientation settings are complete, you can proceed to the next step in the installation.
